How do you start your own DIY journey? Simple. With an idea in mind and the drive to carry it through. I am determined to not only renovate my own home to be tailor-made for my family but to help others do the same! And on a budget that lets us all still enjoy the occasional dinner out with the family. I'll show you my own personal tips and tricks for keeping costs low but not compromising your sense of style or design. The best part of DIY is creating something 100% your own.

MOM OF THREE

My favorite thing in the entire world is being a mom. I love including my kiddos whenever possible with the projects I do. My oldest daughter loves being mommy's helper and can tell you how to correctly measure for a cut, where to mark something, how to stain wood, and why we use different grits of sandpaper! Keeping my kids involved with what I do not only helps them learn new things but creates a close bond and fun relationship like nothing else.

As much as I would love for home renovations to be my full-time job, I am actually a registered dental hygienist! I have been for about ten years now and value the education and skill set I have gained from that. You may see the occasional health-conscious side of me coming through every now and again because it is also something I love and value very highly! Don't neglect your beautiful smile. It's the first thing someone notices about you!
